Books
I bought my mom a book called Dewey. It's about a cat who lives in a library all of his natural life. Come to think of it what come after your natural life. Anyway the book is good but may possibly make you shed a tear unless your strong and stoic like a certain someone who may just be writing this blog. No autographs please. After reading this book I thought it would be nice to read about other animals that people have adopted at their workplace. One of these are listed below.
- Crater the Alligator. A heartwarming story of poor helpless Crater, a baby gator abandoned at a child day-care. How could anyone not fall in love with Crater, he was so cute and loving. He became more refined towards the kids everyday. When he was young he would just run away and he liked to nibble just like a puppy. As he grew older he would let the kids pet him while he slept in the kiddie pool. He also loved to play chase with the older kids. Great exercise for Crater and all of the kids, he really kept the weight off those children. He was so smart he would target the chubby ones so they could lose weight faster. Who knew alligators were so caring. I'm betting your asking yourself why didn't crater bite the kids with those sharp teeth. Well after an incident with a bully who gave him peanut butter and alka-seltzer, he got a little sad so when he was three they were pulled out. It was a shame and I really hope the bully got punished. You really haven't lived until you try and clean peanut butter and foaming alka-seltzer from a gators mouth. Messy, to messy for this family book. Anyway after Crater's teeth were pulled he like to gum on toddlers. It was just a game and the parents loved it. Once we trained Crater on how not to spin his body it was so cute to watch him just lay their while the child giggled.
Well if I haven't gotten you hooked on Crater the Alligator yet check it out anyway. Go to your local library today.
